With it's impressive performance credentials (16.6 second quarter mile) the 450 Desmo Scrambler became a must have purchase for the enthusiast.

In 1956 Chief Engineer Fabio Taglioni developed a desmodromic valve system. The system opens and closes the valves using the camshaft without the need for valve springs which became a trademark feature of Ducati motorcycles.

Four stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, bevel gear driven, 435.7 cc, 86 x 75 mm, Compression 9.3:1.
